COMPANY MOVES METHODOLOGY

AMT’s teams specialise in corporate relocation of offices and factories. However many work stations need to be moved internally or externally, AMT’s specialised teams work according to strict procedures in compliance with transport legislation.
AMT is ISO 9001-certified (2008 version, successfully renewed in 2011), and its methodology has been recognised by large French and international companies for 20 years.

As an active member of the ARSEG, the AFAQ and the Office Moving Alliance, AMT is heavily involved in professional associations to strengthen its affiliation with quality networks.

Our organisation of a move can be broken down as follows:

Planning

Two very different plans need to be drawn up for a successful move: a layout plan and an operational plan (schedule).

Using its exclusive MyTransfert methodology (downloadable from Apple Store – free until 31/03/2012), AMT makes a very precise and detailed inventory of all areas affected by the move.

This plan specifies the location of furniture or machinery for each room or office. A copy is displayed at the entrance of each room to ensure it is laid out in accordance with your wishes.

If the move extends over several days or weeks, a project completion schedule is produced to monitor progress in real time.

Deploying Appropriate Means

AMT adapts the human and technical means to be deployed on each site, in respect of each person’s qualifications.

The protective materials used for your premises are completely recyclable.

The following materials are used for moves: stickers in 12 different colours, standard cardboard boxes and computer packing cases, standard cardboard boxes and plastic computer packing cases, which close without sealing tape and are reusable (30 to 50 times).

Organisation Over Time

The productivity of our teams is equal to or greater than 12m3/day (loaded, emptied).

After dividing up the site by type of workshop, production unit or internal geographical area, we draw up a sequential move schedule.

Human Resources

Every year, AMT invests in training and developing the skills of its team members. Priority is given to internal promotion, to reward the best people in each speciality.

We insist on the importance of management on the ground (team leaders, foremen, supervisors, etc.). These managers are your partners for carrying out a move and convey AMT’s image.
